
"CIRCLE OF vIOLENCE" NEW ALBUM RELEASES IN SEPTEMBER IN EUROPE BY METAL-BLAST RECORDS!!
Hicsos starts 2008 elected one of the ten best Brazilian bands of 2007 and plays on the Rio de Janeiro's selective Metal Battle WOA. The band also played with Obituary and Dying Fetus in April.
As the band turns 18 years-old on the road, Hicsos guitarrists get two pages on the Cover Guitarra magazine. Nilmon Filho and Antonio Saba are called the guitar dynamic duo as Brazilian breakthrough artists. Saba coments:
"This comes from our work. Me and Nilmon did what we had to do in the studio and we had a awesome production!! We're very glad for everything!".
Another special moment was definitely Festival Roça'n'ROll in Varginha-MG. The crowd once again filled the greatest Open Air in Brazil and felt the strengh of the Thrash Metal from Rio. 
Hicsos closes the year with great news: 
- The first DVD is ready and will come out soon. Called "Violence and Blood", it covers 18 years of history with interviews, videos, rare live performances raras and a making of Technologic Pain
- Hicsos has already started to work on the new album and it's on youtube as the "Making the new album" series.
- The band closed a deal to Tour over Europa in 2009, the dates are being confirmed, but it's going to be "full destruction!".
The band begins the year with the release on the internet and Metal TV shows of the video "Face to Face", opening track of the album. On sale on the main webstores and music store in Brazil, "Technologic Pain" gets the best reviews over Brazil and South America, confirming the great moment of the band:

In novembro, Hicsos launches its second promo video, "Candyman", turns into a youtube hit in Brazil.
Hicsos begins the year playing with Destruction, in Circo Voador - Rio. The band had a name and a date for the recording of the new album, but was looking for a new guitar player.
Then, Marcello Ledd calls Nilmon Filho to join Hicsos, replacing Dennis Muniz who left the band for personal reasons. The band goes to São Paulo and starts the recording of "Technologic Pain", in July.
The album is full of special features such as ex-Scars, Regis F. (Mea Culpa and Technologic Pain), Edu Boccomino (Violence and Blood) and the producers, Marcello Pompeu (Pátria Amada and Cry of Souls) and Heros Trench (Cry of Souls). 
With a deal with Dynamo Records, Hicsos released the new album in the main Metal magazines, websites, radio shows and mainly shows and gigs.
In 2004, Hicsos released its first official album named "Eatin' Concrete" setting a new sound of the band. With heavier riffs, more aggressive beats and urban themes, the band released the album with reviews and interviews on the main Metal magazines as Roadie Crew and Rock Brigade. Besides that, it took place on the internet and radio in Brazil.
But the real fun was on the shows over Rio de Janeiro and the highlight maybe was the show with Napalm Death in may of 2004. This year really opened some doors to Hicsos.
In 2005, the exposure in the media continued, and the band followed playing in Rio. This year began with a amazing show with Anthrax, one of the main influences of Hicsos. The band went to São Paulo, where joined Scars for some shows in a new tour.
In the end of the year, Hicsos started to work on the next album, which would be produced once again by Marcello Pompeu and Heros Trench (both from Korzus), in São Paulo.
